A Message of Thanks from 101 Health Research

On March 22, 2024 we will celebrate together: the amazing science of medicine, the triumphs of public health, the survival through a pandemic. As people who work within health, sometimes we have to celebrate ourselves too.

Let me take you back a bit. 10 years ago, I was a doctor with no job, holding onto this dream of health research that seemed a bit out there at the time. This is the story of how hope springs eternal, how dreams can come true. This is the story of a small woman-led business with the big dream of empowering researchers and building health research systems.

In these past 10 years, 101 Health Research has witnessed thousands of healthcare professionals who graduated and published and presented their papers abroad, and who are now full fledged healthcare leaders.

For a decade, we've been behind the scenes designing studies and crunching data for important clinical and public health policy issues like hospital survival rates, Philhealth claims evaluation, rising HIV counts, outbreaks in large factories, pediatric asthma guidelines, quality of cancer care, COVID-19 therapies...

As we commemorate our 10th anniversary, we extend our deepest thanks to you through a specially curated research symposium. This event is a reflection of our passion – a deep dive into health research, public health, and health data science. With an expert lineup of speakers and carefully chosen topics, we look forward to engaging in thought-provoking discussions. Our forward-looking mission for the next decade is clear: to pioneer a data-driven approach to universal healthcare in the era of artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0. Together, we stand at the forefront of this exciting journey.
